All floor slab surfaces were treated with Xypex Concentrate DS-1, a special dry shake formulation of Xypex Concentrate designed specifically for horizontal concrete surfaces such as parking decks and floor slabs.  Applied by hand or by mechanical spreader, DS-1 is trowelled into fresh concrete prior to finishing.

Xypex Concentrate DS-2 is used for concrete structures where increased abrasion resistance is required.

Pressure washing walls with a 4,000 psi machine cleans the latents and form oil from substrait.
Wall surfaces were pressure washed using a 4000 pounds per square inch machine to create a profile of approximately 5.
Step 1
All shrinkage cracks were routed out to a depth of 1-1/2 inches deep and 1 inch wide to facilitate installation of the Xypex Concentrate in a dry pack form (6 parts Xypex Concentrate to 1 part water).
Step 2
Pre wash and saturate routed out area and install the Xypex Concentrate (in a slurry form) at 2 pounds per square yard or 5 parts Xypex Concentrate and 1 part water.
Step 3
Install the Xypex Concentrate as a dry pack by hand.
Step 4
Pneumatic pack Dry Pack into routed out slot.
Step 5
Fill remainder of slot with Xypex Patch'n Plug which is formulated as a crystalline, fast-setting, non-shrinking, high-bonding strength, hydraulic cement compound for concrete repairs.  It stops flowing water in seconds and is used to seal cracks, fill tie holes and other defects in concrete.
A large spray machine can coat 1,000 - 2,000 square feet per hour.
Mixing materials to smooth lump free consistency.
A smooth spray creates a perfect finished texture.
